Cookie Policy

1. The short version
This site uses a small number of cookies that it needs in order to work: to keep you logged in, to keep your basket, and to remember your settings. These are always on.
Analytics is off until you allow it. If you choose "Allow analytics" in the cookie notice, the site uses PostHog to measure how the store is used. If you choose "Necessary only", or do not answer, no analytics cookie is set and nothing is sent to PostHog.
You can change your answer at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
2. Necessary cookies
Set by vellomods.com itself. They are not used to track you and do not need consent.
| Name | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| cfx_user | Keeps you logged in with your FiveM account. | 7 days |
| basketIdent | Identifies your basket at Tebex so items stay in it. | 7 days |
| auth_return_url | Returns you to the page you were on after logging in. | 10 minutes |
| discord_member | Remembers that you verified your Discord membership, for products that require it. | 24 hours |
| bundle_coupon_id | Remembers the bundle discount applied to your basket so it can be removed again. | 2 days |
| vm_lang | Remembers the language you picked. Set only when you use the language switcher. | 1 year |
| vm_consent | Remembers your answer to the cookie notice. | 6 months |
| admin_token | Staff login for the store's admin area. Never set for customers. | 7 days |
3. Browser storage
Kept in your own browser and used only for the feature named. Not sent to anyone.
| Name | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| currency-store | The currency you want prices shown in. | Until you clear it |
| wishlist-store | The maps you saved to your wishlist. | Until you clear it |
| vm_resume_quickadd, vm_resume_bundle | What you were adding to your basket when you were sent to log in, so it can be finished afterwards. | Until the tab is closed |
4. Analytics (only with your permission)
Provided by PostHog Inc. The site records page views and a few shop events (a product viewed, added to or removed from the basket, a search, checkout started, a purchase completed) against a random visitor id. It also records a replay of your visit (the pages you see, where you move and click) so we can find and fix problems; anything you type and your username are masked and never recorded. Automatic click capture and surveys are switched off. It does not send your username, email address or transaction details to PostHog.
| Name | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| ph_*_posthog (cookie and browser storage) | PostHog analytics: a random visitor id, used to count visits and see which pages and products are viewed. | 1 year |
| ph_*_window_id, ph_*_primary_window_exists | PostHog analytics: tells browser tabs of the same visit apart. | Until the tab is closed |
